Late Nights on the Range

June 21, 2015

I recently met up with Jason Davis late one night and took some photos of his firearms on the range. I figured I would share them.

The three AR’s you are going to see are all Colts. The one with the Schmidt & Bender scope is a Colt Modular Carbine, the one with a Kahles scope is a Colt 6940, and the one wearing a Surefire Mini suppressor is a Colt 6933 Commando. The two 1911’s are both Colt as well.

The precision rifle in urban camo is a Spartan Precision build (Spartan Rifles) built by Marc. It is chambered in .300 Win Mag and has a side-folding stock. Originally called The Covert, due to its heavy recoil Jason renamed it The Bruiser. (Follow Jason on Instagram: @southerncrossllc).

The bag is by erathr3 and it is made of Kevlar. Called “The Messenger” it’s handy for those trips to the coffee shop with your hipster friends. Check it out here: erathr3.

Nice. I remember that sniper rifle. That’s a Glock’s Armory p229 Directors cut. I had some good experiences fighting FLN terrorists with that gun. That’s a nice panda pattern paint job it has.
